The blue CBA-PXWX500B Camera Body Armor is a jacket designed to fit the Sony PXW-X500 Camcorder. It is made of a soft-feel, water and abrasion-resistant fabric that protects your camera from bumps, hits, and scratches, also reducing the risk of damage due to precipitation, dust, and other harsh conditions. The flaps and vinyl windows keep dirt and moisture out, but allow quick visual checks on important meters, indicator lights, and switches.
The back end of the jacket is expandable to accommodate various sizes of batteries and wireless microphone combinations. The armor includes a reversible rain top cover; one side of it is white to reflect light and heat in hot, dry, sunny situations, while the other one is black to absorb the sun's warmth under cold conditions. The camera body armor is fastened onto the camera using touch fasteners and web cinches.
